July Came and Went

Good afternoon everyone!

Let's get the best news out of the way!  A New batch of Cherry Bomber has been brewed!  This beer is chock full of cherries from Oregon, and we have been unable to brew this beer for nearly a decade as the price of cherries was outrageous.  The price of cherries is STILL outrageous but our Brewmaster said "Screw it!  Let's make the cherry bomber!!"  This hefty fruit beer heralds back to our roots in the late 90s, when fruit beers were just becoming popular. This rendition will have a higher ABV than ever- ringing in at a whopping 9%.  All that real fruit sure adds the sugar the yeast needs to go crazy and ferment.  I don't have a release date yet, but I will let you know as soon as I do!  As the last rendition, this will be a light sour, as a throwback to the bing cherries that used to be plentiful.

The results for Golden's Best of the Best are in!  All you wonderful people helped GCB to secure the win for BEST BREWERY in Golden, and Best place to meet new people, as well as Golden City Bites as best new business (tied with two others!).  We are so honored.  Thank you so much for your support!

Our next fundraiser is going to be our 30th annual GoldenFest fundraiser.  This is the ONLY GoldenFest in Golden, CO.  It is always a fundraiser for the Golden Fire-Rescue department, through the Golden Fire Foundation.  September 13th, 11am-sold out.  I have some gorgeous glassware this year, and I'm super excited to get some bodies in the door to support our volunteer fire department. 

Our annual fundraiser for Golden Pantry and Thrift (formerly CAG), Golden's Original ChiliFest, will be held on October 11th.  I've got the mugs ordered for the event, I think they will fit perfect in your collection, a little different but still in the ChiliFest lines.  I do need some chili Chefs this year, so if you are looking for a way to give back to the community, and have a blast with your friends, this is it!  Please let me know and I can send you more information.

Our graphic designer will be starting on the new Halloween hoodies for 2025 here shortly, but if you have a great idea please let me know and we can try to work it out.  Does anyone have a preference for zippered hoodies vs. pull over?
